This short Story is 17 pages and PERFECT Read for Memorial Day! It did have me in tears. Becca Boucher is able to convey the TRUE meaning of This Day with her Story of Rachel, her Father, Wayne who served in Vietnam and Blake a soldier who just buried a friend a fellow solder, Bob. It all takes place at the Vietnam War Memorial which I have been Blessed enough to visit and find the name of a Friend who died in that war. I Highly recommend this Story ..I give it 5 American Stars.. VERY well done Ms Boucher!!

This short story was a perfect read over this 4th of July weekend, while waiting for the fireworks to begin. Becca Boucher crafts a short and sweet tale that takes the reader to the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C. where Rachel is waiting for her yearly meeting with her father. He is late and Rachel is worried enough to attract the attention of Blake, who is there to show respect while he is on leave. Blake soon realizes that there are things that need to be seen to be believed and that these things are strong enough to bring two strangers together on a night when they need each other.

Becca Boucher crafts a smooth and engaging story filled with suspense, sadness, fear, and love. A great read for anyone who enjoys an author that knows how to use her words to not only haunt you, but to touch your heart. I would definitely recommend this author and will look for more from her.

FORNEUS CORSON - BY HEATH STALLCUP - IS ONE GREAT TALE OF HORROR!

Forneus Corson, by Heath Stallcup is a great horror novel! I have no idea how long it will be on sale for only $.99, but I would advise you to get a copy now. 380 pages of superb story telling.

Wow!

Book description:

Nothing comes easy and nothing is ever truly free. When Steve Wilson stumbles upon the best kept secret of history’s most successful writers, he can’t help but take advantage of it. Little did he know it would come back to haunt him in ways he’d never have dreamt…even in his worst nightmares.
With his life turned upside down, his name discredited, his friends persecuted, the authorities chasing him for something he didn’t do, Steve finds himself on the run with nothing but his wits and his best friend by his side. When a man finds himself hitting rock bottom he thinks there’s little else he can do but go up…unless he’s facing an evil willing to dig the hole deeper. An evil in the business of pitting men against odds so great, they risk losing their very souls in the attempt to escape…

Format: Paperback
What starts as a simple "assist" turns into the nightmare of all nightmares. When needing and accepting help, be careful who that help comes from - Forneus Corson offers plenty of help, but the price tag is exorbitant.
The twists and turns of Steve's life after accepting Mr. Corson's help keeps one on the edge of their seat, waiting to see who outsmarts whom.
Putting the story aside was difficult to do. I had to know what was happening next, and the way the story reads makes it dang near impossible to find a spot to "let it go". Take the ride, it is well worth the price of admission.
I compared this book to the works of a well known writer, and discovered today that I am not the only one who thinks this way. Stephen King is at the top of my list for this genre, with Heath Stallcup closing in fast!

Format: Kindle Edition
In a good month, I go through about 15-20 books. But I just finished one, and I have to say wow. What a ride. Action packed and a lot of fun, with a twist at the end I never saw coming. Forneus Corson written by Heath Stallcup. I have to be honest and say, I really like Heath Stallcup's other work, His Monster Squad series was really good, and I enjoyed that as well. But this was something else.. No monsters, no zombies, and action packed, and interesting enough to keep me glued to the pages. Great book if your looking for something a little different to read.
