Joel Steven and I are friends. I'm proud to say that. He is not only talented, but he is a great human. Terri and I met him at Alpharetta Food Truck Alley. For those of you not accustomed to such things, these events are fantastic! A number of food and beverage trucks converge in a certain place; there is music by live bands; and a lot of fun is to be had. I had never heard of these events, having come from Wyoming, but they are great! Terri and I make this our date night.
Joel is the audio man for the bands, and he does a great job. He is in the audio/video recording business, but per the announcement I got from his Facebook page, posted below, it appears Film Colorist will be added to his resume. To show you that Terri and I know the super cool people, Joel worked on the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter movie. Imagine that! Way to go Joel!
I love when my friends accomplish great things. Makes me feel proud. I''m proud of Joel Steven. Go Joel go!

In Joel's words:
Still pinching myself, but after my first week it looks like a done deal. I started a job as a Film Colorist at one of the biggest post studios in Atlanta. I won't give specifics on where, but some signs around the place say "DANGER- Zombies" and "ZOMBIES EAT BRAINS - You're Safe". Finally a break.
