Johnny Chaos, by Benjamin Bautz, is the funniest book I have ever read! Add science fiction to the humor, and it makes it even more my cup of tea. I heartily recommend this fantastic book to everyone. It has the Blaze McRob stamp of approval.

Book description:

Johnny was an average, run of the mill, seventeen year old. At least he was until he was tapped by the Lords of Chaos to be their avatar on Earth. Now, with the help of a former avatar, he has been tasked with causing chaos wherever he can, and if he can get around to it, end the world.Which doesn't sit too well with the Lords of Order, Mother Nature, or God Himself,

Now under constant assault, with no long term memory, or even set personality, he has to figure out a way to make sure he takes Cindy Ambercrombie to the prom.

Benjamin Bautz was born in 1971 in the same town in which he currently resides. Apparently his gypsy blood wasn't thick enough to induce wanderlust.
He tends to write either in the horror, or just plain weird and humorous categories. His first book, Don't Eat That is a small collection of short stories that highlights that.
He lives with his very loud cat Kelly in Mansfield, Ohio.
He is also involved in editing and narrating audiobooks and has his own weekly internet radio show called Chaos Descending where he plumbs the philosophical depths of very broad topics.
