The jury is in with the verdict. Lilitu, by Craig McGray, is a great fast read. This is a fantastic tale of horrific love. Although this is a short story, only 11 pages long, it was fascinating. Preston wants to see Lilitu one last time before he dies, despite what happens to him every time they are together. She finally shows up and when she does, things get really weird.

I won't give away anything else, but you can't help but feel sorry for Preston even though what happens is his own fault...sort of.

I'm impressed with this author and look forward to checking out some of his other stories.

A short read, only 11 pages, LILITU by Craig McGray is a well-written enjoyable story that grips you from the opening sentence and doesn’t let go until the final word. About a dying man anxious for one final return of Lilitu, the mysterious succubus who sates his desires, this story has perfect pacing that unravels a bizarre romance which is more than life itself. Dark, morbid, and with a delightful ending, Lilitu is a great way to spend fifteen minutes.
